Golden Diana Film Festival Rules and Guidelines:
1 - Language Requirement:
-All films must be submitted in English or with English subtitles (if in a different language).
2. - Film Categories:
(Curent categories are mentioned on FilmFreeway page of our festival :
Goldian Diana Award for Best Short Film,
Best Animation Film,
Best Editor,
Best Cinematography,
Michael Breman Award
and Audience Award)
3.- Production Year:
All films must have been made in or after 2023.
Duration Limit:
Short films must not exceed 30 minutes (Excluding titles).
Copyright Responsibility:
Filmmakers are responsible for sorting out the copyright on their own materials.
Screening Rights:
By submitting to the Golden Diana Film Festival, you give consent and rights to screen your film in front of a live audience and, under special circumstances, for online screening.
Date and Venue Changes:
Festival will take place in Vienna and Bratislava on 24th of August 2024. More information will be publish few months prior to festival events.
We retain the right to change the date and venue of the festival under special circumstances. Filmmakers will be informed about any changes through email and our online platforms or on our website.
Notification of Selection:
All notifications will be sent out on the specified notification date.
Audience Award Announcement:
The winner of the "Audience Award" will be announced on the last day of our festival.
Premiere Status and Availability:
We place no restrictions on your work in terms of premiere status or whether your work has been made available online.
Submission Format:
We do not accept partial screeners, trailers, or screener links that require access other than password-protected links.
Technical Issues:
Any technical issues with submitted films are the responsibility of the filmmakers. Videos without proper functionality or English subtitles (if applicable) will be automatically rejected at the judging stage without a refund. Filmmakers should contact the festival team ASAP for any submission process issues.
Resubmission Policy:
If you have submitted your project in the previous year, please do not resubmit the same project to the current edition.
Terms and Conditions:
By submitting to the Golden Diana Film Festival, you agree to our terms and conditions, including receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We assure you that your information will never be sold to third parties.
